Mother's Day, also known as Mothering Sunday, is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent in the UK and Ireland. In Ireland, it is celebrated on the same day as the rest of the UK, which is the 19th of March. This day is dedicated to showing appreciation for the maternal figures in our lives, whether it be our own mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, or any other motherly figure we hold dear.
